Exile has been in the business of glad rags for over 30 years. Owner Lynn Harpell opened the original store in 1975 with punk, DIY, and anti-war sensibilities, along with a nod to the Rolling Stone's "Exile on Main Street."

Exile has made it's mark on the retro fashion scene with a jaw-dropping collection of 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's vintage, alongside favourite well-worn and perfectly faded Levi's jeans. Lynn and partner Frank Razzouki's twinkling treasure chests, nestled in the heart of Kensington Market, have become the premier vintage-shopping destination for celebrities, international buyers, fashion and movie stylists, and most importantly, for those who don't let the size of their bank account dictate their style.
